Optimal time and temperature for the sample to be fresh?

The sample will be stable on up to 60 degrees Celsius and up to 2 weeks in regular conditions. In case you can’t send it back to us immediately after the sample is taken - you need to keep it in chilled conditions (e.g. in the refrigerator). Samples last for any length of time in refrigerated conditions and essentially the 2 week timer begins once they leave.

Do Test Kits have an expiry date?

No, the Kits do not have an expiry date. As long as the sample is not taken, you can keep them for indefinite amount of time. The only thing to keep in mind is the expiration on the Whatman card, which is usually 2-3 years.
